Industrial Horsepower Plus, Inc. (IHP) is a private owned company established in 2006, located in Vernal, Utah specializing in stationary natural gas spark ignited industrial engine repairs and service parts. Dealing primarily in the oil and gas markets of northeastern Utah, southwest Wyoming and western Colorado. IHP does business in an industrial park located in Vernal, Utah on a 3 acre lot, located at 1424 East 1000 South. Hours of operation are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday thru Friday. IHP has an 8000 sq. ft. service center, with oversized bay doors and multiple overhead cranes for complete shop repairs to industrial engines, compressors, pumps and generators. The service shop has a generator load bank capable of 700KW load testing ability, to test generators and verify repairs along with helping to diagnosis hard to find problems. We are currently in the process of adding an engine dynamometer to load test stationary engines, with a capacity up to 2250 horsepower @ 4000 RPM. Inside our service facility we have a complete cylinder head reconditioning area with machinery necessary to bore cylinder heads for custom valve seats, a surface grinder for restoring head sealing surfaces to new like condition and other machining equipment necessary to make cylinder heads like new. We specialize in all types of field service repairs for natural gas powered engines and attached equipment. We provide engine tuning to make engines ready for certified emissions testing and compliance with our “ECOM” & “Testo” brand emissions testing equipment. Our field service trucks range in size from 1-ton up to single-axle Peterbilts- all equipped with service bodies, mobile cranes, air compressors and necessary tools to make field service repairs quick, easy and as economical as possible.

Across the parking lot from the service center is a full time staffed, 8000 sq. ft. parts department with new parts, some of the brands in stock are for Ajax engines, Arrow engines, Waukesha engines, Doosan engines, Deutz natural gas engines, Altronic ignition, Murphy gages, PEC clutches, Champion spark plugs, Masterdrive sheaves and hubs for industrial applications, Summit pumps and aftermarket parts for Peerless pumps. Along with all the new parts we also have an extensive supply of rebuilt exchange parts and accessories for Waukesha, Ajax, and Arrow natural gas engines and Summit pumps to keep downtime and repair expense to a minimum.
